Christopher Jewett

           As a broadcast professional with 18 years of experience I consider myself a top tier producer of compelling content. Working on deadline in high pressure environments has evolved and broadened my skill set so that I feel competent in almost any situation. Extensive world travel, and assignments for ABC, NBC and CBS covering everything from the Super Bowl to the White House have led me to develop a very unique ability to think quickly and laterally with focus, while simultaneously keeping the larger editorial concept in mind. 


       More recently in my career I have specialized in Executive level communications as a Senior Producer in the C-suite at Meta. In this role working regularly with the CEO, COO, CTO, and other VP level stakeholders I have learned to produce content at the absolute highest level expected in the corporate world. My broadcast experience has also been key in this role running media training for executives, and directly overseeing the live broadcast events filmed in house. Highlights for 2020 include country wide back to back live talkbacks from inside our Election "War Room", podcast production for the COO, Sheryl Sandberg, Challenge Series live discussions with the CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and an ongoing (post work from home) talk show with the CTO Mike Schroepfer. In 2021 I worked extensively developing our Executive Studio, shooting critical Comms messaging with Marne Levine, Melinda Davenport, and Javier Olivan, while continuing to support the entire C-suite. In 2022-23 we launched XR initiatives including shooting on full Volumes using Disguise and Unreal Engine, I also returned to shooting internal Q&A live with Mark Zuckerberg. 


In 2024 I am working extensively in VR and XR supporting the companies push into the Metaverse while continuing to support the Executive Suite. My day to day includes managing multiple ongoing projects end to end for stakeholders utilizing internal resources, Agency vendors, our creative department and now our VR/XR production teams. 


Mark on Dwarkesh Podcast

This was a great Podcast we shot on campus. I liked Producing this one because the content was very technical but it was clear both these guys were in their element and enjoying the conversation. Highly relevant conversation on top of mind subjects in the valley right now. 

Mark and Lex

This was a fun project. The first interview in the metaverse! We featured our Codec Avatar system mixed with reality and machine vision content. Lex is great to work with, his genuine surprise and awe using the tech was fantastic.

Really fun Producing this with Colin and Samir. Two very talented creators interviewing the head of the world's largest creator platform.

Meta Connect

Connect is always a huge undertaking. This year I co-produced content featured in the keynote and also helped with Production on the day of the event. This is a big project with a lot of moving parts so fitting them all together seamlessly is always more of a challenge than the shoots themselves.

Lex Fridman Podcast

Mark rarely does interviews but when he does the best are always with Lex. I have co-produced two episodes of Mark and Lex now. Its an enjoyable format and always generates interest. 

Meta Products

This was an interesting project as I was Directing, not Producing and it was a sprawling multi week product shoot. We made seven instructional videos for the Meta Quest 3s that live on the Meta Youtube page and link from the QR on the box. We used XR production techniques to shoot on our Volumetric stage with custom environments. 

Executive Comms

Much of my Executive Comms work is Internal or live broadcast,  but this video is part of a fun series I shot with Mark Zuckerberg  that was published to his Facebook page. 

Shooting in VR for Meta

This was a fun shoot for Mike Schroepfer, CTO of Meta interviewing Vivek Sharma our VR Lead. This was a challenging shoot because we were literally inventing the video techniques as we went along. Shooting inside virtual worlds represents an entirely new paradigm for video production. The possibilities are literally infinite. I am an avid beta tester of Horizon Worlds and have built many worlds.

Sheryl Sandberg is one of my most important stakeholders. This was a podcast we recorded at Facebook with Dylan Byers, a Journalist from NBC. I have extensive experience recording in Podcast format, in studio, and remotely. Link to Show:

Sudan before the fall

This is a personal video I made to show friends my first trip to Sudan. The people of Sudan are incredible, and the Nubian Desert is a place unlike any other. This was just before the fall of Omar al-Bashir and it was difficult to see what was going on in the country I had come to love. I reported extensively on twitter about what I saw there, but this is purely a tribute video to the beauty of the place.
